Personal Translator, ili

Travelling to places of unknown languages isn’t a matter of concern anymore. A Japanese company called “Logbar” has come up with a device called “ili” that can translate to any language. Presently it can translate only to English, Chinese and Japanese. But the company claims to add more languages over time. Ili supports English to Spanish, Mandarin, or Japanese as well as Mandarin to English or Japanese. It works without mobile data or WiFi so it could be used in the most remote places.
Ili responds in as little as 0.2 seconds. That means no awkward staring contests while waiting for your words to translate.

If you are an Iphone or Android user, instant translation works much like Siri, Apple’s voice assistant, or Google Now in Android world:

  1. Press the center button: the unit is ready for operation.
  2. Hold this button and speak in your language: the device receives your words in your language.
  3. Release the button an in an average of 0.2 seconds, the device translates into the desired language: no latency time to communicate, the conversation is fluid.

This is possible thanks to the exclusive STREAM technology used for “ili”.
il3Unlike Siri and others, an Internet connection is not required to take advantage of its features. This wearable translator has a huge database: words, expressions and phrases are recorded to translate what you want, where and when you wish. This word library also includes words and phrases used according to place and latest trends. The idea is to succeed in offering you a natural, fluid and transparent communication.
